A Better Back

Through a series of radiographic images

your chiropractor trained in CBP® compares your spine to accepted standards. Using biomechanical formulas, tested, your chiropractor will show you, on clear graphic images, how and where your spine is unbalanced or misaligned.

Careful comparisons of a patient's spine x-rays to accepted bio-mechanical standards help to pinpoint the source of the problems.

The green lines represent normal alignment while the red lines represent abnormal vertebral alignment of the patient and therefore poor posture.

Six-step scientific assessment of CBP.

  •  First, the overall alignment and curvatures of your spine should be assessed.

  • Then, each vertebra is analyzed to detect segmental misalignment or subluxation and possible arthritis damage.

  • Third, the contours, density of the vertebrae and the presence of pathology are controlled.

  • Fourth, the spaces between the vertebrae are analyzed to detect problems with the intervertebral discs (herniated discs).

  • Fifth, your spine is evaluated in the neck, rib cage, and lower back regions to compare the curvature and alignment of each region, respectively, with each other.

  • Finally, the vertebrae are measured to determine angular or rotational displacements (rotational) and sliding or offset displacements (transpositional).

Checking the correct alignment of your spine

Assessment of the potential presence of ligament damage or misalignment (subluxation).

Precise measurements are made to determine any abnormal alignment

Each vertebra is examined to determine if it has normal curvature and density

The spacing between the vertebrae is analyzed to assess the health or damage of the discs. The narrowest spaces between these vertebrae indicate spinal osteoarthritis and disc disease

Specific treatment based on precise observations

Your chiropractor trained at CBP then shows you these detailed observations based on computer-generated reports comparing your x-rays to accepted standards. Each anomaly is described by explaining to you the complications for your health that may result from it or may have already caused problems..

Next comes the correction. And the relief.

CBP has developed, tested and experienced a unique treatment regimen including adjustments using Mirror-Image®, pull-ups and exercises to help correct spinal anomalies, prevent future problems and relieve pain. Treatment at the office and a plan of exercises and corrective stretching procedures to perform at your home provide the best results.
